What to see first:
Assuming that you're pressed for time, or for some
reason or another, you can only read a few sections, these should be them.
They'll give you a general idea of what this place this is a11 about, much
better than I could describe here.
The Way Things
Were- The lay of the land, as surveyed by a younger, but just as
humorous, me. An A-Z list of things that annoyed me, angered me, or
simply never sat right with me. Originally hailed as the star feature of the site, it'd be cruel to deprive future visitors of its entertainment.

Sea Monkeys: The Comic-
The trials and tribulations of the crew of the HS Barnacle, in comic
form!
The organization: Everything separated into a few different
sections, and every section page explains the contents of those within
it.
The reasons: A hobby. To make people laugh. To brighten up the dreary
existence of a lucky few. Boredom. The wonderful feeling that accompanies
being yelled at when I don't update. It makes me happy, and it amuses others; that's plenty for me. The history: The fore-runner of The Humor Effect, ScifiFallout, began as a way to relieve boredom late in the summer of '01,
on the free hosting site, Angelfire. Andrew began
his at the same
time, a little before, in fact, and has since migrated across many an
Angelfire domain. Once school began, it was redesigned, and became The
Humor Effect. A few months later, it was redesigned yet again, and
released as such. This version is riddled
with errors, but I tried to preserve it as it was. On a whim, I began
handing out self-made stickers at school,
and in no time, they were everywhere. I suppose that's when it began in
earnest, because that was when it first had a real audience. It was
re-released at the end of last summer, and
it has kept that layout until now. After March 13th, due to a
combination of being busy, lack of motivation and creativity, and
sickness, there weren't any updates. At all. So, from here on out, I'm
trying to make up for it.
Update Schedule: This is a list
of when all the regularly scheduled updates are, so be sure to check back on
these days. Keep in mind however, other things may also be updated on these
days, or on completely different days, so feel free to check back any time.
